IPod Touch – an ICT tool for assembly operators in factories of the future - Technical concepts and requirements
Paper in proceeding, 2010

Mass customization increases the amount of information but also the need to fasten the information flow from order, product development and process planer to the operators in the assembly operations. New techniques to handle the increasing information flow in final assembly in terms of what, how and when to assemble is essential for the industrial progress. This paper aim to illustrate a technical concept, developed with support from a case study, to conceptualise an ICT tool for operators in final assembly.
