Model-Based Adaptation of RF Power Amplifiers
Other conference contribution, 2010

Digital predistortion is a common method to compensate for nonlinear and memory effects in power amplifier. Since amplifier characteristics is drifting with time and temperature, it is often necessary to adapt the predistorter to varying operating conditions. We propose the use of model-based adaptation, where a model of the drift as a function of amplifier load is used to speed up adaptation considerably.
