This paper deals with challenges regarding the design and implementation of a technology platform framework. The framework is intended to be used as a basis for technology development and when designing and configuring new products. Since technology platforms enable more reuse on a higher abstraction level compared to traditional product platforms, several challenges arise. This paper will elaborate on the design of support tools, focusing on Web 2.0 solutions and support processes for collaboration regarding the exploitation of technologies within a company.
