Measurement of Sewer Sediment Elevations
Paper in proceeding, 1987

In field investigations of the sedimentation process it is of interest to study the extension and thickness of deposits. At the department a method to determine the depth and elevation of sediment in sewers has been developed. The method enables measurement of deposits between manholes without disturbing it. In this way the long-term sedimentation can be studied at selected test sites.
