The nature of the dialogue in the design process.
Paper in proceeding, 2009

The paper attempts to highlight the relationship between communication and design. It is based on research project aiming the development of toll to improve the communication between professionals and users in the early stage of the design process. It shows that the design process can be apprehended as a process of communication based on different levels of dialog supporting a progressive construction of representations of the particular design situation. But human communication is not a trivial process, more often our means of communication prevent us for reconsidering established knowledge and representations in order to access new worldviews.
