Power electronics design laboratory exercise for last-year M.Sc students
Paper in proceeding, 2006

This paper presents a Flyback test board, used in the education of electric power engineering students at Chalmers, Göteborg, Sweden. The board is used in the course Power Electronics 2. In the project task, the students are going to design snubber circuits, improve the control of the output voltage, improve the gate drive of the main MOSFET transistor, study the influence of stray inductance in the dc-link and compare the measured results with simulations made in the circuit simulation software Pspice. The board is already from the start of the project operating in a crude manner, but with the modifications above needed in order to operate more satisfactory.
