Glued Connections in Timber Structures

In this contribution, the structural behavior of glued connections is introduced briefly. Different types of glued connections currently used in practice are summarized and discussed. Their potential with respect to future applications will be evaluated and new and innovative solutions will be presented. The contribution is limited to structural adhesive joints used to transfer loads in a defined area usually between two members.
