Array Mutual Impedances Can Be Determined from Antenna Range Pattern Measurements

The relationship between array radiation patterns and mutual coupling can be used to determine mutual impedances from measured embedded element patterns (EEPs). We review the EEP loading condition transformations that form the basis of the method and validate the proposed technique experimentally.
