Out-of-band Interference Suppression of SatCom Antenna Arrays through Transmit Beamforming
Paper in proceeding, 2023

A novel transmit beamformer algorithm is proposed for next-generation satellite communication (SatCom) array systems to suppress self-interference and to simultaneously meet regulatory radiation mask constraints, at a small cost to Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP). Simulation results for a 1024-element system at Ka-band are presented showing that realized gain performance can be traded of against improved channel isolation, while maintaining mask adherence.
