Modified Nonlinear Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (MNTHP) for 100 GBaud/λ IM-DD system

We have proposed a modified nonlinear Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (MNTHP) scheme for C-band 100 GBaud/λ PAM-4 IM-DD transmission systems with severe linear and nonlinear impairments, enabling 0.2 dB and 0.4 dB receiver sensitivity improvements in comparison with the NTHP scheme under the B2B and 2-km SSMF transmission conditions, respectively.
