Digital Dispersion Pre-Compensation in Single Span Transmission Links Using Phase Sensitively Pre-Amplified Receivers

Aiming at sensitivity improvement for future long-haul single-span ultra-low-loss hollow-core fiber links, a digital dispersion pre-compensation for degenerate phase sensitively pre-amplified receiv-ers is experimentally demonstrated, achieving 1.7 dB NF with 20 Gbps BPSK signal after 80 km SMF transmission, outperforming EDFA pre-amplifier by 2.3 dB.
