Intelligent Maintenance Planning for Enhanced SKR Availability in Deployed Long-Distance QKD Systems

We demonstrate an ML-based approach to optimize photon detection performance on a 110 km QKD link. Results show that scheduling maintenance during predicted low critical traffic periods reduces blocked critical data transmissions by 64% and increases overall service reliability by 16%.
