Performanceofabuildingdependstoalargeextentonweatherconditions.Accordingtomostofthepredictions,thefutureclimateisgoingtochange.Todesignasustainablebuildingitisnecessarytoconsiderprobablechangesoftheclimate.Workingwiththefutureclimateintroduceslargetimescalestothebuildingphysics.Furthermoreseveralfutureclimatescenariosareavailable.Theuncertaintiesoftheclimatescenariosaffectthebuildingsimulations. AnanalyticalmethodisusedtoconsiderclimatechangeanddifferentCO2emissionscenariosusingdifferenttimescales.Themethodisdecomposingtheparametersintofourcomponentsbasedondifferenttimescales.Comparingdifferentfutureclimatescenariosusingthedecompositionmethodenablestotrackthedifferencesbetweendifferentclimatescenariosndmaketheoptimumchoicefordesigningasustainablebuilding.
