International Students' Experiences of Engagement: Identifying Opportunities for Enhancement
Book chapter, 2011
International students make an important contribution to New Zealand universities. Economically, they contribute more than $2 billion annually to the domestic economy (Joyce, 2010), and the current minister responsible for tertiary education recently expressed the hope that ‘further development
of the sector will bring real benefits in terms of economic growth plus additional income to allow our tertiary institutions to grow’ (Joyce, 2010).
