Room Temperature THz Detectors with Fast Response Rate.

We present high sensitivity room temperature THz direct detectors made of YBa2Cu3O7-x nano-bridges, with a broadband optical coupling (0.1-2THz). A responsivity (Rv) up to 100 V/W and a noise equivalent power (NEP) of 200 pW/Hz0.5 were measured for a device area of 0.15 μm2 -0.25 μm2.
