LYDIAN: User's Guide
Report, 2005

One area in which visualization techniques may be applied to enhance understanding of computer systems is the field of distributed algorithms. Lydian is a simulation and visualization environment for distributed algorithms that provides to the students an experimental environment to test and visualize the behaviour of distributed algorithms. It gives to the students the ability to create easily their own experiments and visualize the behaviour of the algorithms on their experiments. Lydian is easy to use and can also be extended.
