Eszter Lakatos

Assistant Professor at Applied Mathematics and Statistics

I am a mathematical biologist passionate about applying quantitative techniques to understand the biological principles governing disease in order to improve clinical decision making. I develop stochastic mathematical models with bioinformatic techniques for next-generation sequencing datasets. My research focuses on how cancers evolve to resist immune surveillance and anti-cancer treatment.
