Fia Christina Börjeson

I am a senior lecturer at the Department of Communication and Learning of Science, at the Division for Language and Communication. I teach communication and academic writing and supervise students' writing in various engineering courses.

With a background as a professional translator, I am interested in the development of the Swedish language and its position as a scientific language, and how technical language is developed, structured, and used. I am involved in terminology work and language counseling in various contexts and have together with colleagues developed Chalmers writing guide for students.

I am part of the editorial group for Chalmers English – Swedish glossary with academic terms and I answer internal language questions at the address sprakfragor@chalmers.se
