Angela Casarella

Postdoc at Geology and Geotechnics

Angela is a Post-Doc in the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, research group Geotechnics. Her research focuses on capturing the progressive evolution of fabric in sensitive soft soils under mechanical loading. The final aim of the research is to adopt a combined numerical and experimental approach to monitor the 3D micro-mechanisms occurring in micro-clay specimens under isotropic and triaxial compression.
