Jafar Banar
Jafar Banar is a PhD student in the communications system research group at the Department of Electrical Engineering (E2). His current research focuses on signal processing and applications in wireless communication. Jafar is involved in the MyWave project by European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant. The topic of his project in MyWave is "Digital array calibration techniques and synchronization for distributed massive MIMO."
The project collaborates with seven industrial partners: NXP Semiconductors, Ericsson AB, Keysight Technologies, Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics, Gapwaves AB, United Monolithic Semiconductors, and The Antenna Company. And also three academic partners: Chalmers University of Technology, TU Eindhoven, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
