Catharina Hiort
Catharina Hiort is heading the Division for Research Support, Bibliometrics, and Ranking at the Department of Communication and Learing in Science.
Catharina holds a PhD in biophysical chemistry, and has spent five years as a postdoc at New York University. Upon returning to Chalmers, she managed the Chalmers Bioscience Initiative and was responsible for building up the Grants Office function at Chalmers, a unit that has since developed into the Division of Operative and Strategic Support. She has held positions as Process Manager for Research and Graduate Education, and as strategic adviser to the Vice Presidents for Research and Areas of Advance, respectively.
