Gunilla Clancy
Gunilla Clancy is Innovation Advisor at Chalmers Innovation Office Sustainable development in early stages of development is her main area of expertise. Before taking up her position, Gunilla ran her own brand Capture Sustainability. Since 2020 she has been a juryman at the Administrative Court.
She has an extra focus on the departments of Architecture and Civil Engineering; Communication and Learning in Science; Space, Earth and Environment; Technology Managment and Economics and Materials Science Area of Advance.
Gunilla holds a MSc in Chemistry from the University of Gothenburg and a PhD in Sustainable Development from Chalmers University of Technology. The title of her thesis is "Assessment of sustainability and guidance towards more sustainable products". She is also a certified Board Member from the Swedish Academy of Board Directors - StyrelseAkademien.
2019-2022 Gunilla was a member of the Cycle and Water Committee in the City of Gothenburg.For 3 years she was an assessor for Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency, funding for Innovative Startups steps 1 and 2. In addition, Gunilla has worked as an Environmental Specialist in product development at IKEA of Sweden in Älmhult.
