Hosein Naseri

Post doc at Vehicle Safety

I am PhD student at the Dynamics division at the Applied Mechanics department. My research is in Biomechanics with focus on finite element human body models. The human body models are used to study occupant response during car crashes for the development of vehicle safety and to avoid accidental injury. To improve the biofidelity and usability of human body models especially for obese people, I am working on modeling of Adipose Tissue. Modeling adipose tissue will help us to understand how obesity will affect and change the mechanism of abdominal injury. This is an interdisciplinary project defined between the division of Dynamics and the division of Vehicle Safety.
