Anna Grzelec
Guest researcher at the Division of Science, Technology and Society, at the Department of Technology Management and Economics.
Anna's postdoc project is entitled "Gender education at Chalmers: How, when and where?" where she investigates how to improve gender inclusion in education. It is financed by GENIE.
Anna is both a quantitative and qualitative researcher. She received her M.Sc. in Technology Management and Engineering here at Chalmers, and started her research career at the department of Technology Management and Economics. She studied the relationship between flexibility, learning and motivation in assembly line production, and made a quantitative Licentiate thesis in 2008. After some years working in the industry, she returned to the academy, this time to the school of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University. During her time there, she studied creativity at a high-tech company with ethnographic methods, and analyzed a wide range of creativity solutions such as hackathons, design thinking, toys, theatre, and skunk works. She defended her Ph.D. in 2019 with a dissertation elaborating a recursive relation between organizing creativity and creative organizing in engineering work, but where she also noted stereotypical gender role enactments.
