Katarina Logg

Research Engineer at CMAL

I am a research engineer at Chalmers Materials Analysis Laboratory, which is one of the research infrastructures at Chalmers. The laboratory offers access to basic and state-of-the-art instruments with relevance to materials science. I have a MSc in Physics and a PhD in Bioscience. During my PhD and post docs I worked mainly with different optical microscopy and spectroscopy techniques. With this background I am responsible mainly for the optical instruments in the lab. Except for procuring instruments and keeping them in good condition, my job is to support users and teach new users in how to operate the instruments.
