Eric Nilsson

Doctoral Student at Subatomic, High Energy and Plasma Physics

PhD student at the department of Physics since august 2021.
My research is focused on applying the physics of black holes to condensed matter systems, using so-called holography (or AdS/CFT-correspondence). In particular, I am interested in trying to describe the strange metal phase of high-temperature superconductors, by building realistic holographic models that can explain the anomalous properties seen in experiments.
