Doctoral Student at Physical Resource Theory

Andreas Rehn's work is focused on meeting the increased demand within biomass such as food, energy and bio-based products at the same time as increasing biodiversity and promoting ecosystem services. This will include biological carbon storage in soil and vegetation to further develop the work with “negative emissions” of carbon dioxide. The project has a large focus on GIS-based tools to analyze and identify possibilities for a sustainable agriculture and forestry with an aim to involve different stakeholders and communicate sustainable solutions within land use.
