Johanna Takman

Doctoral Student at Geology and Geotechnics

Johanna is an industrial PhD student in the field of environmental economics at the Department of Geology and Geotechnics, the research group Technical Geology. Her research focuses on issues related to policy instruments and measures for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other harmful effects from the freight transport sector. Among other things, the research discusses questions regarding how to increase the share of renewable energy in the transport sector and how to shift freight to more energy-efficient transport modes.
