Tiina Männistö-Funk is a historian of technology with research interests in everyday technologies, user practices, and the role of material culture. Her current research projects deal with the changing mobility practices and the methodological possibilities of studying the material activity in the past.Tiina is an active participant in the international researcher network Cultural Politics of the Sustainable Urban Mobility. She is the editor-in-chief for the Finnish journal for the History of Technology, Tekniikan Waiheita, and a board member in the Finnish network for artefact studies, Artefacta.
