Sandra Tostar

Doktorand at Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Energy and Material, Nuclear Chemistry

Sandra's research is oriented towards plastics recycling from electronic waste, so called WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Mechanical- and rheological properties of different plastics and plastics blends are investigated since different electronic waste can contain up to ten different types of plastics. She has also investigated extraction metals from the plastics, mainly antimony. The project is a twin Ph.D. project and her colleague, Erik Stenvall, works at Materials- and Manufacturing Department.
