Dawei Yao
Dawei Yao joined in Prof. Louise Olsson’s group in 2020. As a postdoc in Division of Chemical Engineering, he focuses on combining experiments and kinetic modelling for the fundamental understanding of the catalytic reactions relates to cleaning emissions from vehicles. His project is to synthesize new formulations for passive NOx absorbers, which can store NOx at low temperatures in the form of nitrites and release them above 200°C. In addition, developing kinetic models that can describe these catalysts is also the aim for this project.
