Circular cellulose to textile fiber production
Research Project, 2021 – 2023

The purpose is to enable a circular and resource-efficient cellulose economy in Sweden, with the goal to extract cellulose from residual streams (eg agricultural waste, used textiles and recycled cardboard) for increased value. The project has 3 unique objectives: A) to increase the industrial interest and market relevance in cellulose-rich residual streams, B) to increase the potential for these streams in resource-efficient processes for cellulose material production, and C) to network and increase knowledge in resource-efficient processes for bioindustrial applications.
