Diana Bernin is an assistant professor at the chemical engineering division and dedicated to contributing with her research to the transition from a fossil to a bio-based society. She focuses on developing energy-efficient processes for producing bio-based chemicals and fuels from waste products from, for example, the paper and pulp industry such as lignin and sawdust.
