Swedish Sustainable Graphene
Research Project, 2022
Purpose and goal
The project’s goal is to show the potential of graphene by creating projects that decrease or eliminate obstacles in the areas: demonstration of the use of graphene in applications, standardization and characterization, work environment and safety, circular flows, test beds and competence supply.
Expected results and effects
The project creates funding opportunities by offering three additional open calls to SIO grafen’s portfolio during the period 2021-2024. The program office coordinates, creates synergy effect between projects and communicates the potential of the graphene for different industries.
Planned approach and implementation
The focus and framework for the open calls will be defined. The plan is the identify challenge areas and support consortia that are looking for projects in the open call. Participation in national and international standardization work will be supported and synergies between projects to stimulate knowledge exchange will be created. Workshops to support consortia formation and to create synergies between projects will be arranged.
