Development of enhanced thermal interface materials for electronics and power module cooling application
Research Project, 2022 – 2023

Purpose and goal: The goal of the feasibility study is to develop new graphene-enhanced thermal interface materials (TIM) using high-quality and low-cost graphene raw materials and verify performance for electronics cooling applications.
The project consists of: Defining graphene raw materials specification Manufacturing of graphene materials Developing and characterizing graphene-enhanced TIM Cost analysis, market survey, and customer evaluation Expected results and effects: The ambition of SHT is to build on its product development activities and increase the Swedish graphene industry´s competitiveness that further strengthens the participating partners. The project partners will gain a significantly improved insight into research on graphene-enhanced products and a strong network and results will also be presented within the network for the SIO graphene. The project also aims to find and form a strong stakeholder network among the end users for continued research work for a larger project if positive results are obtained.
