Boosting the Exploitation of Standardisation Inputs from European Projects
Research Project, 2022 – 2024

Contributions from diverse stakeholders and experts are crucial for developments related to standardisation. However, the standards-making process and rules are sometimes at odds with the culture and practice of research. The EU-funded STAND4EU project aims to strengthen these links and improve the connection between research, industry and standardisation bodies. It will map and identify key stakeholders and actors involved in standardisation activities at national, regional and international levels to allow proper identification of the obstacles hampering standardisation efforts. A plan will be developed with recommendations and solutions to make the standards setting process more efficient. A STAND4EU interface will be created to facilitate the collection and sharing of information, including pointers to available supporting services, to act as a one-stop shop for all related matters.
