Innovative battery management integration for electrical vehicles
Research Project, 2023 – 2024

Purpose and goal
The Electric Vehicles (EV) market has been seeing exponential growth in recent years thanks to technological innovation of battery and the battery management system in modern electric vehicles. To meet the ever-increasing demand for a longer driving range, safer, faster future electric vehicles, advanced battery systems need to be further developed to a different level with consideration of several critical aspects. This preparation project will explore future advanced technology and innovative solutions for developing advanced battery management systems.

Expected results and effects
This preparation project is expected to establish a competitive consortium and to coordinate and write the proposal for advanced battery pack integration contributing to achieve the goals of the EU project, such as, safety, real-time monitoring and reliability, placing Sweden at the forefront of advanced battery technologies. Additionally, the goal of the current preparation project is to generate direct contact with battery producers, car manufacturers and academic partners in the related research field in order to have a better perspective on the solutions.
