Accurate and legitimate policy tools for local regulation of particle emissions from the transport sector
Research Project, 2024
– 2025
The project will be the first steppingstone for connecting several collaboration platforms for dialogue, knowledge transfer and the creation of new research projects within networks such as GAC (part of GMV), Gothenburg Green City zone, and the City of Gothenburg´s digital twin. The project aims to deliver tangible result in the form of workshops, meetings and future collaborative applications. The arranging of workshops, meetings and invitations to collaborations will be taken by the project participants together with identified stakeholders active in related projects and relevant networks. The collaborative effort that the project represents will also enable additional added values for existing research projects. Examples of road transport technology projects include the “Case study Gårda” (funded by Formas, VR as well as AoAT), where inclusion of the city of Gothenburg will enable discussions and evaluations of possible policies to improve air quality, and “Smarta urbana trafikzoner” which takes a systems perspective on urban transport and aims to, develop solutions for the implementation of smart traffic zones for the sustainable, dynamic and flexible city. The network formed during the project will be utilized to evaluate various governmental reports (e.g. SOUs) with pre perspective of societal implementation. The outcome of the project will be presented during a conference open for the public
