Battery Characterizations for lifetime studies
Research Project, 2024 – 2025

In this collaborative project methodologies to link ageing of batteries between in-situ current voltage relation and post-mortem analysis methods such as scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Auger spectroscopy (AES), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is to be conducted. Unique for this project is also that this is to be done within a new collaboration between the Chalmers division of Electric Power Engineering (EPE) and Materials and Manufacture (M&M). Battery cells will be tested at EPE and then send to MM for analysis. One of the deliveries in the project it an application for a larger cooperation project.
