TEAPaN - towards practical utilization
Research Project, 2025
– 2027
TEAPaN (Traffic Event Assessment, Prioritizing and Notification) will offer an open IT-ecosystem for increased traffic safety and system capacity, as well as decision support for improved precision in alarm and blue light actors' handling of traffic incidents.
TEAPaN 2 is the second project under the TEAPaN heading, with TEAPaN 1 ending in 2023.
In TEAPaN 2 the focus will be on the blue light services needs and the development of the central IT-structure TEAPaN Services which is supporting dispatch centres with continuous storage, communication, analysis and processing of transmitted data.
Results and analyses will be presented to dispatch centre operators, blue light and other actors in the form of decision support, with and without AI elements, for prioritization, resource allocation and handling.
The project uses both real and synthetic data as well as AI in development, demonstrations and evaluations.
