Fast Forward Green City Zone
Research Project, 2024 – 2026

The transport sector accounts for the second largest share of greenhouse gas emissions in Gothenburg and addressing these emissions as a City is of key importance. It is crucial to adapt new tools and work streams for cross-sector multi-actor collaboration. The FastForward Green City Zone Pilot City project (FFGCZ) ‘the pilot’ is about implementing scaling-up methods to unlock the potential and utilise innovations tested in the field of emission free transportation zones in Gothenburg. Within the pilot we will orchestrate learning for actors to understand their role and impact for a systemic shift, leading up to joint decisions on reducing transport related carbon emissions.
