The project “Rwandan–Swedish Effort on Stroke and Trauma” is part of the Chalmers–Rwanda Knowledge HealthTech Bridge and aims to improve the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and traumatic brain injuries in Rwanda.

The project is about investigating how a portable, easy‑to‑use microwave diagnostic system, developed in Sweden for early detection of stroke and head injuries could help improve stroke and trauma care in Rwanda.

The activities are:
- Stakeholder meetings in Rwanda
- Master’s thesis projects conducting: Health Technology Assessment, Investigating market access and implementation, Preparations for clinical trials.
