Compiling of data for dioxin, dioxin like-PCB's and PFAS in Baltic pelagic fish
Research Project, 2026 – 2027

The aim of the project is to map and analyze existing data regarding the content of dioxins, dl-PCBs, and PFAS in pelagic fish caught in the Baltic Sea. Factors such as season, geographic location and organ are taken into consideration. The purpose is further to, based on the mapping, identify obstacles and development needs for increased landing and processing in Sweden, and increased human consumption. The knowledge obtained will be communicated to stakeholders and need owners, such as authorities, the fishing industry, consumers, and decision-makers.
