FlexCSAR
Research Project, 2027 – 2029

FlexCSAR, an EU-funded project developing flexible, adsorption-based CO₂ capture technology using a gas-solids fluidized bed system, unlike conventional liquid-solvent or fixed-bed adsorption methods. FlexCSAR can flexibly run on low-grade heat combined with vacuum and heat pumps, enabling optimized operation based on electricity and heat availability/pricing.
