Methodology development for efficient integration of energy-intensive climate-friendly processes in industrial clusters
Research Project, 2012 – 2013

The project’s aim is to develop the ”Total site” analysis method (TSA) for analysing opportunities for implementation of common energy efficiency measures and advanced biorefinery concepts in industrial clusters. Selected cases are evaluated with respect to techno-economic performance as well as associated potentials for reduction of CO2 emissions using energy market scenarios. The project is conducted as a case study linked to the chemical cluster in Stenungsund. The results from this project can be used to evaluate the advantages for co-localisation of other processes at an existing cluster.
