Examining the role of experts as knowledge facilitators in standardized and industrialized building practices and processes
Research Project, 2011 – 2015

The overall objective of this project is to explore how organizations in the construction industry can develop industrialized processes that not only provide a more efficient production, but also stimulate efficient knowledge exchange between different social groupings involved in construction projects. This not only stimulates and supports development in the studied organizations; it also raises knowledge and understanding concerning the roles of human actors as well as non-human agents as knowledge facilitators in standardized and industrialized building practices and processes. As such, the results form the study may provide important input for a sustainable and competitive building industry.
