Environmentally adapted metal manufacturing processes; chemical and waste material recycling (EnviroMan)
Research Project, 2012
– 2015
The overall vision for this project is a sustainable and waste free production, including the view on waste as a potential resource. The project is proposed as an integrated effort: i) to take advantage of previously gained achievements in the FFI-Component Manufacturer Cluster project ii) to demonstrate and evaluate new technologies according to feasibility for implementation in production and iii) to support the further development of approaches of importance for sustainable production. The project will handle and solve specific problems regarding (WP1) cleaning of process fluids and surfaces; (WP2) material recycling of residuals from foundry processes; (WP3) energy and environmental analysing, validation, integration; (WP4) pilot Energy data platform; and (WP5) project management and coordination.
