The goal is to establish an develop a cross-disciplinary research cluster that addresses material modelling on different length scales. The materials considered are metal and fiber composites and the cluser covers competences in both materials characterisation and applied materials modelling. The long-term goal is tupport the development of lgithweight solutions. The project is a strategic project within the national innvation programme Lighter.
