Bridging Science and Society – stories to build water literacy
Research Project, 2016 – 2018

The project aim to strengthen the dialogue between Swedish water researchers and the general public and also between researcher and actors in the drinking water sector in Sweden, through targeted communication initiatives based on the use of various narrative techniques to pass on knowledge about water.

The objectives of the project is to present popular scientific material that describes the value of water, from raw water to tap, and to show the importance of the research area in order to ensure a sustainable future. Activities planned within the project include i.a. the production of written and filmed material, and public events where researchers meet society - in cooperation with Inoverseum and Världskulturmuseet in Gothenburg.
