Digital lärplattform för den smarta digitala fabriken (edig)
Research Project, 2016 – 2018

The E-DIG project aims at developing a digital learning platform to enhance digitalization skills among employees in Swedish industry. The goal is to create a web-based flexible learning platform, which together offers training opportunities in relevant areas for digitization in development, operation and change of production. The target platform's target group includes operators, maintenance technicians, manufacturing technicians in companies and education actors.
Expected effects and results
The E-DIG project results in a flexible modular digital learning platform for effective competence lift to specifically support digitalization capabilities in Swedish industry. Expected effects are increasing and broadening digitalization skills with an integrated sustainability perspective. The project creates new opportunities for time and space-based training and education, individual and corporate adaptation, and combination training in both a digital and physical environment.
Scheduled planning and implementation
The learning platform is based on a physical demo car factory where modules are further developed based on industry's need for manufacturer digitization. A conceptual model is taken jointly where companies contribute to the concrete content of the learning platform. Educational development and sustainability evaluations are done for each module.
